Purpose

  • The SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) Exam is conducted by the State Bank of India (SBI) to recruit candidates for the position of Clerk (Junior Associate) in its various branches across India.

Elgibility Criteria

  • Age Limit

    • Minimum Age: 20 years
    • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

  • Preliminary Examination

    The Preliminary Exam for the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) is an online objective test, and it has three sections:

  • General/Financial Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability

Selection Process

  • 1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims)

    • Objective: The Preliminary Exam is a qualifying exam to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam.
    • Mode: Online (Computer-based test).

  • 2. Main Examination

    • Objective: The Main Exam is the decisive stage for selection and carries significant weight in the final merit list.
    • Mode: Online (Computer-based test).

  • 1. Reasoning Ability

    • Logical Reasoning:
      • Syllogism
      • Logical Statements and Conclusions

  • 2. Quantitative Aptitude

    • Simplification and Approximation
    • Data Interpretation (Tabular, Pie Chart, Line Graph, Bar Graph)

  • 3. English Language

    • Reading Comprehension
    • Cloze Test

Salary and Benefits

  • Basic Pay: ₹19,900 (for Junior Associates)
  • Gross Salary: ₹23,000 to ₹25,000 (including allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, and other benefits).
  • Allowances: Medical benefits, Travel allowance, etc.
