State Teacher Eligibility Test
The STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) is an exam conducted by individual state education boards or state governments to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in schools within a particular state. It is similar to the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) but is specific to the state and is required for candidates aspiring to teach in state-run schools.
