Assistant Loco - Pilot

Purpose

  • An Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) plays a crucial role in the Indian Railways by supporting the Loco Pilot in operating trains safely and efficiently. Their responsibilities include monitoring signals, maintaining communication with railway authorities, and assisting in minor repairs and maintenance tasks. ALPs are essential in ensuring the smooth operation of train services.

    1. Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month
    2. Grade Pay: ₹1,900
  • Gross Monthly Salary

    After including allowances, the gross salary typically ranges between ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month.
