Purpose
- The RRB Sub Inspector (SI) position is part of the recruitment process for the Railway Protection Force (RPF), which is responsible for the security and protection of railway passengers, passenger areas, and railway property.

Exam Structure
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 90 minutes.
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)The PET/PMT is qualifying in nature and ensures candidates meet physical standards.

Candidates qualifying the PET/PMT are called for document verification.

Candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the medical standards set by the Railways.

Physical Standards:

- Male (General/OBC): 165 cm; (SC/ST): 160 cm.

- Unexpanded: 80 cm; Expanded: 85 cm (5 cm expansion required).
