Subject - Specific SLET
Purpose
- The Subject-Specific Paper (Paper II) in the SLET (State Level Eligibility Test) exam is designed to test the candidate’s in-depth knowledge of their chosen subject. Application Process

Exam Structure

Salary and Benefits
- For Government Universities/Colleges (State or Central): The basic salary is usually in the range of ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400 (Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix)
- Revised Pay Structure (Central Universities): For positions under Central Universities, the pay scale could be higher, with an entry-level salary around ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000 per month (depending on the university and the experience of the candidate).
