Purpose

The TRB Post Graduate Assistant (PGT) Exam is conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, for the recruitment of Post Graduate Assistants (PGT) in various government schools. Written Exam: Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice Questions).

Interview: After the written exam, shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or document verification. This round assesses the teaching abilities, subject knowledge, and overall personality of the candidate

General Knowledge: Indian history, geography, Constitution, current affairs, and Science and Technology
Education Methodology: Pedagogical theories and principles,Classroom management and teaching strategies,Educational psychology,Evaluation methods and learning theories.
Subject pecific Knowledge:Based on the Post Graduate subject (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, etc.). This section tests in-depth knowledge of the chosen subject.
